We started off with shopping at Shinjuku. Sadly the weather wasn’t good but we managed. We went to a Starbucks for coffee because we arrived so early, at 10am. Apparently most shops open at 11am in Japan, a little surprised by that.
Anyway after the coffee we did more shopping. We have discovered a Disney store in Tokyo which is amazing as you see I even did a little store tour. Of course, I have get myself a little present to bring home with, hehe.
After that we were in a big department store, Isetan, and have lunch, the line isn’t long and only waited 10 minutes or so. Everything is super efficient in Japan. There are 7 levels for you to shop and most of them are luxury goods. We walked past the Apple Store in Shinjuku and the Shinjuku crossing where you can see a huge cat laying on the building haha. We went back to the hotel and get a change cuz we are about to go to a fancy restaurant.
For dinner, we have decided to go to a Michelin-recommended restaurant called Une Pincée. it is a French restaurant located in Higashiazabu, very close to our hotel near Tokyo Tower. The restaurant is an open design where you can see the chef cooking and preparing your food. It is a casual-ish dining experience. Since the menu is in full Japanese, I can only use my Google Translate for the food.
Overall the food was amazing and the price is very good for what it is. If you want to see what I have you will need to watch the video itself. The chef was very nice and friendly, I will definitely go back again when I visit Tokyo next time.
After dinner, we want to continue the good vibe from the restaurant and decided to go to a bar just to experience the local culture. The first one that we went to did not open and the second one that we went to is kind of unique in the experience. We had a few cocktails at the bar called Bar Barriére. The bartender will make you a drink customised to your liking which is kinda good. It would be good if we are not the only customer tho.
Anyway, after the drinks at the bar, we decided to go back to the hotel as we have more things to do for tomorrow. However, we were feeling a little tipsy and when you are tipsy you do silly things.
We went back to the hotel, and instead of going to our room, we tried out the bar in the hotel and had a good time there. More drinks of course :p
