Part of the April cast iron Wednesday challenge, to cook something with maple syrup.
French toast batter :
1/2 cup of milk
Two eggs
A pinch of ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon of ground
1 teaspoon brown sugar
A splash of vanilla extract
Options: fresh zest of lemon
A good way to use day-old bread. If you have delicate bread, you can toast before dipping in the batter.

Cook on medium low heat.
Cook bacon at 350°F for 20 to 25 minutes times may vary, based on thickness of your bacon.
