In todays video i show you my recipe for how to make your very own homemade simple & delicious french fondant fancies in the comfort of your own home, the classic british treat by mr kiping with a sweet creamy buttercream & a moist light cake!

Recipe –
Cake :
4 ounces sugar
4 ounces butter
2 eggs
4 1/2 ounces self raising flour
1 ounce milk / buttermilk
2 teaspoons oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon corn flour / corn starch
1/2 teaspoon salt

Bake for 20 – 25 minutes at 160c / 320f

Buttercream:
2 tablespoons butter
5 tablespoons icing / powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon milk

Coloured Icing: x 3
8 tablespoons icing / powdered sugar
3 – 4 teaspoons water
(Adjusting if necessary)

+ food colouring of your choosing & cocoa powder for the chocolate
