biscuit recipe:
Start by putting castiron skillet into 450’f oven, now mix 2.5cups flour, 1tbsp sugar & baking powder, 1tsp salt, 1/4 tsp baking soda. then add 5 tbsp cold butter and cut in, then add 1- 1/4cup milk with some lemon juice to make it into buttermilk. mix dry, then add butter cut into dry ingredients, add milk and stir together, pat out and fold over a few times then pat out one last time to about 1/2 to 1 inch think and cut your shapes. add to greased skillet and bake at 450’f for 12 min till golden brown then enjoy. We like ours with honey drizzled on top.
