Monday December 16th 2019 – Disney Vacation Club opened its 15th resort, the Riviera Resort, on a grand scale. At the top of this extravagant building is a new dining establishment called “Topolino’s Terrace”. (Topolino means “little mouse”.) This is a sit down restaurant that serves a character breakfast in the morning and no -character dinner.
We could not pass up the opportunity to dine at Topolino’s Terrace on its first official day of operation. During breakfast, Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy visit the dining room wearing their new costumes of their artistic studies while in the French Riviera. Mickey is studying painting, and his painter’s smock is covered with wet paints. Minnie is a student of prose writing, and has a costume covered in the written word. Donald is sculpting in his studies, and is covered in clay on his apron. Finally, Daisy is studying the art of ballet and is wearing her ballerina outfit.
Watch along as we see the dining room and rooftop terrace for the first time, meeting Mickey and Friends, and having an excellent meal.
