Welcome back to the latest episode of The Weekly Leader. The Weekly Leader is a weekly video where I look at current events and put my spin on them with regards to how leaders lead, inspire, and motivate those individuals within their team, group, division, and/or organization based on the situations I mention:
CURRENT EVENT: ► Weather Event Causing Panic At The Wine Cellar
I was reading about a sudden frost in the several wine regions of France. The article explained about the areas affected and the impact to the wine industry in France. What the article alluded to but not overtly mentioned was Wine Prices increasing as the supply would be low. Of course, that was to be expected but a reality is that the low supply is going to cause a shift in buying wines from other parts of the world and most certainly expect those wine prices to climb as well. All in the name of Supply & Demand. While wine makers are limited in what else they can offer consumers in terms of expanding quality as the quality is in the wine. For others organizations that are raising prices, most certainly mean raising quality. Give More when they have to Pay More. Raise the Quality When You Have To Raise Prices.
LEADERSHIP CONCEPT ► TRUST, BUT VERIFY
If you are quick to believe when individuals talk negative about others and you accept that narrative as fact, then you have some serious problems. However, by taking the time and making the effort to verify if all that negative talk is true or not. Don’t always accept the negative talk at face value, because sometime people lie, cheat, and demean only to further their personal agenda. They commit heinous acts just to attempt to look good in front of others (mostly strangers and/or non-family members). Thus, in order to avoid looking like a gullible buffoon that falls for anything being said, make absolutely certain you verify the story before you run with it. Yes, it is that simple, especially if you do not like being played for a fool.
Also, don’t forget to leave your $0.10 (ten cents) in the comments section because two cents are STILL free and FREE ain’t worth much.
