Bacon Nation is a brand new restaurant that just opened up inside the D casino on the second floor. Its replacing an old cafe that used to be there that was shut down during the pandemic. Like the name suggests the menu is very bacon and pork centric but also offers many classic diner type foods. They have a variety of breakfast and lunch/dinner offerings. For breakfast they have things like omelettes, benedicts, pancakes, french toast etc. And for lunch/dinner they have soups, sandwiches, salads, pastas etc.

They have 13 different bacon flavors to choose from: Tajin, Black Truffle, Chocolate, Black Pepper, Jalepeno, Mango Habanero, Barbecue, Lemon Pepper, Honey Sriracha, Everything Bagel, Buffalo, Candied, and Maple.

For our lunch we ordered the 3 lil piggies for $14. This is an appetizer that allows you to get 3 strips of bacon with 3 flavors of your choice. We got the Everything Bagel, Lemon Pepper, and the Honey Sriracha. The bacon was slightly crispy on the edges and fatty and soft/tender in the middle. None of the flavors really stood out to me and they all just kinda tasted like bacon. The Lemon Pepper was extremely salty like a salt bomb. I expected a little bit better. And each bacon comes paired with a different sauce for each. One tasted like ranch, the other one tasted like a spicy sweet chili, and the last one tasted like Teriyaki sauce.

We also ordered the Reverse BLT for $18 and it comes with a choice of french fries or tator tots and we went with the french fries. The fries were good and pretty crispy. The reverse BLT sandwich has a bacon weave on the outside so its pretty greasy to handle and falls apart easily. It was pretty good but just tasted like a regular BLT with a gimmick. The bacon was thinner here and much crispier than the other bacon dishes I got.

And we also got the Sooie Sliders for $14. This comes with 3 Sliders and comes with Bacon,Ham, Fried Pork Tenderloin, Fried Onions. This was probably my favorite out of all the dishes that I ordered.

Total Price: $49.85 with tax and not including tip. Overall pretty decent food. A little bit on the pricey side. Service was prompt when I ate there and didn’t have any problems with the service or the food. I would come back in the future to try out some of the other things on the menu.
