We all decided to go hiking in the Adirondack’s and get a few more summits under our belts. Today is day one, and we start early and head east. Our first stop is breakfast at Denny’s in Belleville. After breakfast we cross the boarder into the United States and drive to Lake Placid. Before getting to the cabin at the KOA, we grab some groceries and beer, then get some lunch at Dack Shack, a sandwich shop with 46 different sandwiches. We checked into the KOA then ventured up the auto route to Whiteface Mountain and eat some Eggo Pop Tarts.
