How to cook Pork & French Beans in Black Bean Sauce
Welcome to my Asian Kitchen. My name is Xiao Wei and my goal is to make your cooking simple and exciting. Ever since my Mother showed me how to cook at an early age, I have always had a strong passion for cooking. My family still live in Inner Mongolia, in the northern part of China, where I visit each year and learn new Asian/Chinese recipes.
Ingredients:
200g Lean Pork (cut into thin strips)
100g French Beans (cut into 1 inch pieces)
1 Spring Onion (roughly chopped)
2 Cloves Garlic (finely chopped)
3g Ginger (finely chopped)
1 Tbsp Cooking Wine
1 Tbsp Light Soy Sauce
150g Black Bean Sauce
Method:
1. Place pork in a bowl, add cooking wine and soy sauce. Mix well and leave to marinate for an hour
2. Heat 1 Tbsp of oil in the wok over high heat
3. Place pork in the wok and stir-fry for 4 minutes, remove from wok
4. Heat another Tbsp of oil in the wok over medium heat
5. Add the ginger, garlic into the wok, fry for few seconds
6. Add the French beans and stir-fry for 3 minutes
7. Add the black bean sauce and stir-fry for a minute
8. Add the pork and stir-fry for a minute
9. Add the spring onion and stir
10. Transfer onto a dish and serve with rice or noodles
