I really enjoyed this Paris walk, Grenelle market is a mainly fruit and vegetable market, but you can find also street food, cheese, wine and local products. It’s located in the 15th arrondissement of Paris – near Eiffel Tower.
This street market it’s open only on Wednesday and Sunday morning. If you want to have an authentic French experience, not just the touristic spots, I recommend stopping by.
Grenelle open market is protected from bad weather by its placement under the aerial part of line 6 of the Paris metro. Merchants have their stalls on a single aisle between Dupleix and La Motte-Picquet – Grenelle stations, between the two lanes of Boulevard de Grenelle.
It was the historic market of the village of Grenelle, a town attached to Paris in 1860.
