A few days ago before checking into our resort for a Disney staycation, Brennan and I went to Epcot on the opening day of the 2022 International Food and Wine Festival! After avoiding the heat of the day (and dropping off Arlo), we arrived at Epcot for an evening trip exploring the World Showcase and trying new (and familiar) foods until we were ready to go to our resort. We were briefly impacted by some relatively severe weather for about half an hour, but persevered around the World Showcase to complete our Food and Wine experience. Generally, the first day of Epcot festivals are spent mentally categorizing the available offerings and creating a visual representation of the booth locations and items, and future trips are about a more casual experience trying the foods and drinks we missed the first visit. We had a fantastic time on our first trip, and concluded our day by checking into Port Orleans French Quarter for our staycation! Thanks for watching and I’ll see you soon!
