After going to Epcot for the first day of the 2022 Food and Wine Festival and checking into our room at Port Orleans French Quarter the day before, we woke up and had breakfast at Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory, and took the bus over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios! I was able to secure last-minute reservations for the park as well as some unique food experiences we’ve been wanting to go back to, so it seemed like a fantastic way to spend the afternoon. We arrived and got a couple drinks to cool off, and then got in line for Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway (which ended up being around a 30-45 minute wait). Next, we went into Walt Disney Presents to look around and get out of the heat again, followed by a brief attempt at riding a Toy Story Land attraction, before heading over to Galaxy’s Edge for an Oga’s Cantina reservation that I was able to secure. After a couple drinks, we walked over to Grand Avenue to go to the Sci-Fi Dine In Theater Restaurant for the first time in several years, and then decided to go back to the busses to drive to the French Quarter to finally enjoy some of the resort amenities we’ve been excited about experiencing this staycation!
