Come hang out with Rachel in the kitchen! Today, we’re cooking up some fried shrimp, fresh french fries and steamed broccoli.

Fried Shrimp:
1 lb Colossal / Jumbo Shrimp
1 cup of buttermilk
1T of hot sauce
1/2 cup of all purpose flour
1/2 cup of cornstarch
Seasonings to taste

Season flour/cornstarch mixture to taste, add hot sauce to buttermilk, dredge shrimp in flour mixture, dredge in buttermilk, return to flour mixture, fry on medium-high heat for 3-5 mins per side. Enjoy!

French Fries:
5-6 Russet Potatoes
Canola oil
Salt to taste

Slice potatoes to preferred size, soak in ice cold water for 30 mins, drain on paper towels for 10- 15 mins. Fry in batches on medium heat for 10 mins, drain on paper towels for 10 mins, fry again for approx 8 to 10 mins on medium-high heat. Enjoy!
