My road trip to France has been a surprise! When it comes to French food, we all think of delicious cheese platters, fine dining (or fancy) French restaurants, creme brulees, etc…
However I didn’t have the opportunity to experience such French cuisine. I visited Reims and throughout the city there was literally NO parking available, that too their restaurants were full. So I retreated and tried a highway restaurant (the ones attached to gas stations), and their restaurant was closed because I arrived late in the afternoon.
So I practically had no choice but to dine in my car. BUT IT WAS FUN!
I learnt a lot about French roads and the French highway system, it thought me a lot about the strong environmental initiatives taken by France! I look forward to visiting France again! This time more prepared!
