We are going to start by cutting our French bread. For this recipe we need 1/3 of our French baguette, we are going to cut it into very thin pieces.
With your fingers you are going to tear the bread into small pieces. and it is time to add the white wine to our French bread, you will be surprised at how much wine you will use as the bread absorbs it very quickly.
Now it is time to prepare our Caroenum we are going to need 2 cups of our white wine and ½ teaspoon salt we take our ingredients to the stove in a medium low temperature, we add the two cups of wine
and the ½ teaspoon of salt we stir the ingredients and let reduce to at least one cup, let it cool since in the end we need our mixture to have a thick consistency like syrup.
Now it is time to toast the pine nuts, remember that we want a golden color, try to keep moving them constantly, we do not want them to burn once our pine nuts have that golden color that we want, it is time to remove them from the stove.
It’s time to prepare our meat
We need 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper. We are going to add it to our french bread previously soaked in white wine, with our clean hands we are going to add 1 pound which is close to the 500 grams of minced meat. I am going to make sure that all my ingredients are well integrated. Now I am going to take my pine nuts and add on my ground beef. Now I’m going to add 50 milliliters of Liquamen. We pour it on our mixture and it’s time to make our burgers.
We are going to take our hamburgers to the frying pan. remember our pan has to be at a medium temperature to ensure that our meat cooks. once the meat is almost cooked it is time to add our Caroenum (the reduced wine and salt from earlier) and let our meat absorb all the flavors, at the moment of adding the caroenum you will immediately see how our hamburgers obtain that golden color, as they look crispier, I left them a few more minutes and the final moment has arrived, it is time to try our Roman hamburgers if you do not make the same mistake that I did wait a minute for it to cool down and that’s it, that’s how our Roman hamburger is prepared.
