Welcome to Episode 6 of How to Pick a Wine? In this episode I taste two cheap wines, a $6.99 Kirkland Brand Bordeaux Superieur and a scrappy little wine, Rough Day, from Bulgaria.

Everyone wants a cheap good wine but how can you assess if it’s actually good? What does “good” mean with Cabernet Sauvignon? Just because it’s cheap doesn’t mean its good…but it might be…maybe…we will put the wine through the rigors of the tasting chart and assign scores!

If you want to taste along with me the two wines I bought are:

Kirkland Bordeaux Superieur and the Rough Day Bulgarian Cab both for $6.99
