Shrimp Scampi is a delicious, easy dish to create and makes a great appetizer and meal. This Shrimp Scampi is made with shrimp baked to perfection in a garlic, butter, olive oil, lemon and other spices. White wine rounds out the party along with finely chopped parsley and bread crumbs.

Here is the recipe:
113g/ 1 stick unsalted butter (melted)
14g/ 1 tbsp. olive oil
4g/ 1 tsp salt
2g/ ½ tsp pepper
4g/ 1 tsp ground red pepper
8g/ 2 tsp. lemon zest
14g/ 1 tbsp. minced garlic
340g/ 1lb raw shrimp (peeled, deveined and tail on)
42g/ 3 tbsp. lemon juice
14g/ 1 tbsp. shallots (minced)
79g/1/3 cup. white wine
21g/ 1.5 tbsp. fresh parsley (finely chopped)
4g/ 1 tsp oregano
21g/ 1.5 tbsp. breadcrumbs
Preheat oven to 400F/200C degrees
In a medium bowl, combine salt, pepper, red pepper, oregano, lemon zest, shallots, wine, minced garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil.
In a large bowl, add shrimp and transfer one-half of lemon/garlic mixture to large bowl and combine.
Transfer shrimp to a baking dish of your choice.
Add remaining lemon/garlic mixture to shrimp.
Add finely chopped parsley.
Top with breadcrumbs
Place in oven and bake for 12-15 minutes until shrimp are cooked (ovens vary).
Remove and sprinkle with remaining parsley
Serve with rice, pasta, couscous or toasted French bread.
