Mavro is under new ownership and it is now M by Jeremy Shigekane. If youre looking for a culinary genius then you absolutely need to stop here because both Jeremy and Lead bartender Deon are putting together some mind blowing dishes. We opted to get their tasting menu and order several other dishes so that we could taste the entire menu. Also no fancy dinner is complete without a few drinks lol. The A5 Japanese wagyu was Bomb but the M pork was so balanced and the pork flavor was extremely clean. Deon followed up with some bomb drinks like his gin cocktail which I loved and I honestly hate gin. Then my fave which is his fall special which every sip made me want to frolic through a forest and jump in a pile of leaves lol. From beginning to end my mouth was on a flavor journey and what’s nice is they want to show that fine dining doesn’t need to completely break your wallet.
