New technologies at the service of wine: overview, costs, benefits (AI, robotization) by Renaud Ruer – La Place – CEO & Owner
After obtaining his degree in International Business from the Sceaux University Institute of Technology, Renaud Ruer continued his studies in Political Sciences at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada.
He began his professional career in packaging for the perfume industry before moving into the wine sector 21 years ago. He started at Baron Philippe de Rothschild, and subsequently held positions on Bernard Magrez’ estates and finally at Château d’Yquem, where he created the post of commercial and marketing director. He then decided to go out on his own as a wine merchant in Bordeaux, while also consulting for other wine & spirit brands.
