BC Pinot Gris is a varietal that truly exemplifies the Okanagan. Like an orchard in a bottle, the Spearhead pinot gris is off-dry on the palate (6.5g/L of residual sugar), packed with flavours of red pear, pink grapefruit, ripe tropical fruits, and tangerine. The lifted acidity provides balance and we’re left with a refreshing minerality on the finish.

The grapes come from Spearhead’s vineyard in Summerland having been hand-harvested and whole bunch pressed. A small proportion of the juice has been barrel fermented in neutral French oak which adds texture and a richer mouthfeel.

We’re thinking a goats cheese and strawberry bruschetta would go so well with this!
