Ingredients:
1 Loaf Texas Toast
• 8 Eggs
• 2 cups Whole Milk
• 1 cup Half and Half
• 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
• 1 tsp Sea Salt
• Caramel Sauce
• 1 stick Butter Unsalted
• 1 cup Brown Sugar Dark or Light
• 3 tbsp Corn Syrup
• Instructions
• Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
• Whisk together eggs, milk, half & half, vanilla extract and salt.
• Cut the Texas toast into 1 inch squares and place into a 10-inch skillet.
• Pour egg mixture over bread pieces.
• Refrigerate overnight to allow bread pieces to soak.
• In a small saucepan, combine butter, brown sugar and corn syrup, heat until bubbling.
• Pour over bread and egg mixture.
• Bake for 40 minutes. Dust powdered sugar or enjoy with syrup.
