Champs Ancien, Red Blend, France
This red blend is made with grapes hailed from Southern France. Grenache and Syrah varieties are fermented separately and only brought in until the final stage when they’re ready to be blended for bottling.
Not sure when or how it acquires such a sweet taste and aroma, but it was too sweet and puckery for my taste. I know some people love wine on the sweeter end so I think this would be quite the treat for you!
