Day 17 takes us back to the Cotes de Gascogne with a white version. Our red version earned a shocking 91 points. Can this white blend score as high as the red blend?
****** I taste these wines blind and unless the grape variety is mentioned on the label, I have to guess. In this episode I guessed Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon rather than Ugni Blanc and Colombard. Well….after looking at the importers website they say… Ugni Blanc and Colombard. I was wrong and they fooled me and schooled me, I was not aware that Ugni Blanc could be made so well. Ok lesson learned. Thanks Costco Wine box! *******
