Day 8 of this Wine Advent-ure takes us back to Argentina for their signature white wine, Torrontes. The very fruit forward medium body white wine from Argentina is a hidden gem for white wine drinkers. Inexpensive and expressive this is a nice grape variety to get to learn well.
**The producer of the Wine Advent box says, “Due to supply chain issues with some of the wines in this year’s calendar, a few of the wines differ.” If you didn’t get a Torrontes, I’m truly sorry for you – I liked this wine. You can watch the producer’s video here: **
We put this bottle through its paces on the tasting chart and come up with a score. Join me, David Devere, Minnesota’s first licensed wine educator, as we open a bottle from this clever advent calendar each day from December 1st to 24th. While I’m not expecting the best wines in the world it does give me an opportunity to teach you about wine appreciation while having fun growing a wine community here on Youtube. Cheers!
