5 lb steak medallions or beef for stew
1 1/2 quarts of beef stock
1 1/2 cups flour
1/4 cup salt
1/4 cup of pepper
10 baby carrots
1 lb of baby pearl potatoes
10 pearl onions (frozen and peeled is easier)
8 oz of quartered mushrooms
2 bay leaves
Fresh thyme
1/3 cup of oil (as needed)
1 bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon (your choice)
1 minced garlic glove
2 tbsp of roasted beef base
Salt to taste over all.
