A basic walkthrough of a BBQ Pork Sandwich (Bánh Mì Thịt Nướng / Sandwich Vietnamien au porc mariné) is included. Some examples of French & Vietnamese garden produce and concepts are mentioned.
Also discussed are Chả lụa (Vietnamese Sausage/saucisse vietnamienne), mayonnaise, pâte, pickling (do chưa), and other home techniques from mid 20th century. Sardines and Laughing Cow (frommage de la vache qui rit) cheese were quite popular, for examples.
