Foreign Minister Marise Payne and Defence Minister Peter Dutton have defended Prime Minister Scott Morrison against accusations he deceived France over the scrapping of the $90 billion submarine deal.
The issue has seen relations between the two nations deteriorate and Labor claims the fracas has now cost Australia its credibility on the world stage.
