This is the second part of episode two in my Parisian apartment tour series. In this second part of episode two I am helping my friend Maggie finish her living room decor. Her influences are very BoHo and natural which is why she wanted her living room makeover to fit the theme of Urban jungle.
A lot of the home Decor in this space is focused on the plants. In part one, we rearrange the shelving system and even made a DIY incense burner. After that, it was time to work on the living room some more.
The coffee table decorating ideas were many but we ended up going for something very simple and practical. For the rugs, we first wanted to have them touch but that ended up not working. As a result, we used one for the coffee table and the other one for the bean bag.

The dining room is in the same space. We ended up making a DIY dining table with shelves that Maggie and Jim owned. We went on a trip to get support to put them on and it worked really well for the space.
To me decorating a living room is all about having an idea of what you want the space to feel like and then finding the Decor items that bring you that energy. It’s also about taking your time to create a space that you know you’ll enjoy in the months to come.
