The Grand Malbec is aged in French oak barrels for 10-12 months. Ripe, bold and full-bodied, fruit forward with hints of cocoa and vanilla.

THE ALPASION STORY
Alpasion, a combination of the Spanish “alma” for soul and “pasión” for passion, was founded by a group of friends in 2010. The goals were clear from the start –firstly, making delicious wines, enjoying them with one another, and sharing them with the world. Secondly, to have a reason to gather together regularly and to expand the circle of friends. And lastly, to leave a legacy for future generations to enjoy.
The vineyard is nestled against the Andes mountains in the prestigious Uco Valley appellation of Mendoza, Argentina. The low intervention, high elevation, grown under organic methods the wines are estate grown and bottled. The region’s extreme but favorable climate conditions and diverse soil produce healthy clusters of grapes with intense colors, rich flavors, and high concentration resulting in complex, iconic award-winning wines.
