Hi Everyone! In today’s video, we explore the beautiful and historic downtown Winter Garden, Florida. located 14 miles west of Downtown Orlando in the western part of Orange County, Florida, United States. Established by Henry Harrel of Alachua in 1857, Winter Garden was formerly called Beulah. Historic downtown Winter Garden contains a collection of restaurants, shops, and cafés, as well as two museums and a performing arts venue. Downtown Winter Garden hosts a farmer’s market every Saturday from 9:00am–1:00pm. Many vendors sell fresh produce, plants and flowers, herbs, baked goods, artisan crafts, and local food and beverages. Live music is also a key feature at the market.
First, we stop at Rosallie Le French Cafe. Conceptualized and created out of a need of a dining experience that represents the culture of a European eatery. Rosallie’s gives guests a unique experience from taste, touch, and sight through its different concepts. Surrounded by a cozy and authentic European atmosphere and served by a welcoming staff, guests are made to feel relaxed and at ease all while enjoying a bite of an authentic food offering or their favorite choice of crafted beverage. Brunch, Lunch, and all the teas and lattes in between its a winner whenever you’re in winter garden.
ROSALLIE WINTER GARDEN is located at 141 West Plant Street, Winter Garden, FL 34787 and is open Monday – Saturday, 7am to 9pm Sunday: 8am to 8pm
Along the way we visit The Winter Garden Heritage Foundation – History Research and Education Center. The mission of the Winter Garden Heritage Foundation is to preserve the heritage and architecture of West Orange County, while creating new cultural experiences. You can stop by the museum and view their exhibits free of charge, donations are encouraged. The center located at 21 E Plant St, Winter Garden, FL 34787 and is open most days 11 – 3pm.
We stop at the Central Florida Railroad Museum. The Central Florida Railroad Museum is located at 101 South Boyd Street, Winter Garden, Florida in a former Tavares and Gulf depot built in 1913. It is open daily from 1:00pm until 5:00pm, excluding holidays.
We check out the SOBO Art Gallery – Winter Garden Art Association. Winter Garden’s original fire station, located at 127 South Boyd Street, Winter Garden Art Association is to encourage individual creativity and artistic expression, to promote community involvement and cooperation, and to advance the appreciation, education, and availability of Visual and Cultural arts. A MUST SEE!
Finally we check out Axum Coffee to grad a refreshing tea. This colorful cafe donates all profits to charitable causes & serves coffee, tea, panini & desserts. Located at 146 W Plant St STE 110, Winter Garden, FL 34787. Open most days from 7am – 9pm.
