French Macarons are difficult to perfect, but the taste makes up for the attempts.
Ingredients
1. Almond flour – 65g
2. Castor Sugar – 45g
3. Icing Sugar – 65g
4. Egg white – 50g
5. Food colour
Filling
1. Whipping cream
Equipment
1. Piping bags
2. Nozzles – 804
3. Oven
Preheat oven 300F/ 150C. Baking time 15-18 minutes.
Tips
1. Beat egg whites until it is stiff peak
2. Tap and remove air bubbles completely.
3. Use within one day if it is filled. Unfilled macaron can last for 3 days when stored in air-tight container.
4. It is hard to get right on the first attempt.
