While visiting San Luis Obispo, CA, I took the opportunity to breakfast at Bon Temps Creole Cafe. What was unusual here was the Pan Perdu, a French Toast, but with a twist. Seems maple is a rare thing down South, so they used honey and rum. It was really quite good. The coffee was some of the best I have had on a road trip in quite awhile.The whole meal was very reasonable and was an excellent value in an expensive city. I highly recommend it.
