French bread has a delicious, slightly sweet taste and a lovely thick crust. It is especially good for dipping into soups, or slicing and melting some cheese on top. Using your Thermomix it’s really easy to make an authentic tasting French bread. It will take about 2 hours to make, as the dough needs to do one rise for an hour, then a second rise for 30 minutes, and then bake for 20-30 minutes. However it is worth taking the time as the taste is divine!
