Ingredients:
– 3 lbs lamb chops
– Salt to taste
– Pepper to taste
– 1 tbsp sugar extra if needed
– 1 can diced tomatoes
– 1 small onion, sliced
– 2 cups baby carrots
– 5 garlic cloves
– 2 cups broth
– 1/2 cup white wine
– 1 tsp dried lavender buds, ground
– 1/2 tsp herbes de provence
– 1/2 tsp nutmeg
– 1 tbsp paprika
– 1 tsp turmeric
– 3 cloves, ground
– 1 tbsp chicken powder
– 1/2 cup dried mushrooms, soaked
Procedure:
Step 1. Season the lamb chops on both sides with salt and pepper.
Step 2. Heat up a pan on high heat, add oil, and sear the lamb chops. Remove the lamb chops from the pan and set aside.
Step 3. Remove any excess oil from the pan, and saute garlic and onions until lightly browned and melted.
Step 4. Return the lamb chops into the pan. Then, mix in the diced tomatoes, white wine, broth, and mushrooms. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 5. Add in the herbes de provence, nutmeg, paprika, lavender, turmeric, cloves, and more pepper. Stir and simmer the lamb for around 1 hour in a Medium low heat or until tender. Around halfway, add in the carrots.
Step 6. Plate, and serve with your choice of side whether that be vegetables or grain.
