In this episode I review a great wine from Chateau Roc De Levraut, Remi Ballarin and the Ballarin Family. The Chateau is located 30 KM south of St. Emillion in the right bank of the Bordeaux wine region of France.
Roc de Levraut was founded in 1923 by the Ballarin family.
The name refers to the rocky terroir, which is mainly characterized by limestone.
Not only do I share my love for the wine, but I share information about the producer as well as try to tell a very brief history of Bordeaux, as well as the difference between right and left bank wines.
(And I try to make it funny)
Once again the wine is Chateau Roc De Levraut, Bordeaux Superieur, a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc,
The wine is brought in by Fine Vines and is sold at Binny’s in Illinois or check your local retailer.
Find it. Buy it. Drink it.
Adios,
