Indian French Toast is hardly found in Indian restaurants, just because of that we forget having this. So in this video, we will watch how to make simple Indian French Toast, It includes – Toast, mashed potatoes, Mushroom fry, roasted tomatoes #indianstylefrenchtoast #frenchtoastrecipe #toastrecipetamil
Ingredients Required for Toast:
1. Bread (Acc to people at home)
2. Milk – Half Cup
3. Sugar – Half Tsp
4. Vanilla Extract or Essence – Half Tsp
5. Egg – (2Egg per person)
6. Chopped Coriander
7. Salt to taste
8. Butter – Greasing
Egg Toast Mixture Preparation: In a bowl, break and add all the egg inside and blend it thoroughly. Now add a half cup of milk, a half tsp vanilla extract, a half tsp of sugar, a quarter tsp of salt, and mix all together very well. Once done, add nicely chopped coriander and again give a mix. Our mixture is ready. Keep Aside
Heat a pan or Tawa, grease it with butter, ghee, or oil on low flame. Now take the mixture and dip the bread pieces on both the side and place it on the pan. Cook well both the side for 2 to 3 min on medium flame or low flame.
Our toast is ready.
Ingredients Required for Mashed Potato:
1. Potatoes – 3 Medium Size
2. Milk – Half cup
3. Pepper Powder – 1 Tsp
4. Chopped Coriander – Garnishing
5. Butter – Greasing
6. Salt – To Taste
Preparation Method:
Place a cook on the stove and add 3 to 4 cups of water. Place the washed potatoes and add 2 tsp rock salt and close the lid along with the whistle. Allow 6 – 8 Whistle and turn off the flame and keep it aside till the pressure cools down.
Now peel the boiled potatoes and mash them completely either with help of a hand or a masher. Ensure to taste if the potato contains salt in it. Later, keep a pan on the stove and turn on the flame. Put some butter or ghee and add mashed potatoes to it. Mix butter and potatoes very well and after some time add half a cup of milk and again blend it thoroughly. It will take a lot of time. After 8mins, add pepper powder and nicely chopped coriander leaves and give it a stir. Our mashed potatoes are ready.
Ingredients Required for Mushroom Fry:
1. Mushroom
2. Pepper Powder – 2 Tsp
3. Chopped garlic – 6 – 8 Pcs
4. Butter – Greasing
5. Chopped Coriander – Garnishing
6. Salt
Preparation Method:
Place a pan on the stove and turn on the flame. Put some butter and wait till it completely melts. Ensure to keep your stove on low flame. Do not let the butter burn. Now add straightly chopped mushrooms and coat along with butter. Don’t add the salt right immediately. Wait till the mushroom leaves out the water from it. Now add a teaspoon of salt and saute it well. As the mushroom cooks, more water appears which means your mushrooms are cooked 60%. Slightly after a while, you can observe little oil along with water which indicates the mushroom is cooked 80%. Now add pepper powder and nicely chopped garlic cloves and give a stir. Let it be there another for 2 min with a lid closed. Now add coriander and our mushroom fry is ready to serve. Do not put the pan inside the sink you have one more thing to do with it.
Roasted Tomatoes:
On to the same pan, place the half-cut tomatoes and add a little more butter and salt along with it. Coat it well on both sides. Do not waste any garlic which is there inside the pan and spatula cause it gives an amazing essence and aroma to tomatoes.
