The recipe is forgiving , unlike other bread recipes , any beginner can make it .The bread is made in a dutch oven (pot), Minimal cupboard ingredients, does not require the over night rise , it doesn’t need to be kneaded and no weighing involved . So when i say its easy ,i mean it is EASY!
And guess what it is vegan / vegetarian friendly .
Minimal pantry ingredients? No bread-baking experience? Need to swap flours? This simple bread dough recipe can handle it, plus you can turn it into pizza, sandwich bread, dinner rolls, cinnamon rolls, you name it!
Ingredients Equivalent weight(if you want to measure)
active dry yeast -2 1/4 teaspoons (9 g)
sugar -1 teaspoon. (4 g) (use honey if you prefer)
warm water -1 cup. (250ml/280g)
salt-1 teaspoons (10 grams)
All-Purpose i.e Plain Flour- 2 1/2 (320 grams)
(+1/2 cup of flour for dusting) (60g)
Prep Time:
yeast proofing time -5mins
Mixing time – 5mins
Rising time -30mins
Cook Time: 45 mins
Total Time: ~1hours 30 minutes
Yield: 1 loaf (about 6 servings)
