1/2 cup plain yogurt
1 cup sugar
1.5 cups flour
3 eggs
1/2 cup sour cream (or 1/4 cup Fage yogurt and 1/4 cup whip cream)
2 tsp. baking powder
3 apples, peeled and sliced thin

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Beat yogurt, sugar and eggs until they are mixed well. Add flour and mix further. Add thinly sliced apples to bowl and combine gently. Grease and flour two 8 inch round cake pans. Pour into the pans. Bake for 35 – 40 minutes. Cakes should be golden brown on top.
