There is only so much we can pack into a TV show devoted to a single region of France. You wouldn’t be surprised to know that the great food of Alsace could cover a whole show by itself. Say “France” and most people think of Paris, the beaches of Normandy and the fabulous French Riviera. But there is so much more; Brittany, the Basque country, the Loire valley, the spectacular Alps and on and on. Each region celebrates its difference with local foods, wine, art, theatre and even accents. This show devoted to the region of Alsace can only hint at what every region of France has to offer.
Writing, directing and co-producing this first episode of Famously French was nothing less than a labor of love.
