It just fit into my under counter space. My husband took out the wall board behind the fridge to give it just a bit more space and room for air to circulate.
I find it really only takes 2 bottles per shelf and the bottom shelves do not pull out. The thermostats are a bit sensitive if you should knock against them, luckily we had a little kick out in our counter top to help cover the top.
