Bread and egg. Who doesn’t love the combination? So, French Toast. It is one of the most simplest breakfast you can make, that looks fancy and presentable to your family or to your guests. Our French Toast, is loaded with more protein, lower in calories and low in cholesterol. The key is using less egg yolks, at the ratio of 3:1 or 4:1 of whites to yolk. See recipe below:

EASY PROTEIN FRENCH TOAST
Serve: 2 | Prep & Cook Time: 15 min.
3 slices of bread (thickness of at least 3/4″) – quartered
9 eggs (9 whites, 3 yolks)
1/4 cup of milk/half and half
1 tbs butter
1 tbs oil (olive or avocado. I am using Avocado Oil Spray)
A pinch of Salt

– Which eggs with milk, then add the bread.
– Let the bread soak in the liquid while you melt the butter.
– Melt butter in oil and heat up the pan to medium
– Start adding slices of bread, then lower heat to medium low.
– Flip once. When both sides are cooked, transfer to plate.
– Serve with jam or maple syrup.
