This baroque style mirror was a bargain. Instead of the gift with purchase short metal cleat, I used the Rubbermaid Fast Track steel rail to hang the mirror in my dining room. It was an easy mirror installations.
Now you can also purchase a metal French Cleat set. You can find these at hardware stores. Because we have sonic booms from a local air force base it was recommended that I use the steel rails. And like I said before most stores that sell mirrors and so on will give you a cleat to attach to the wall. Just make sure it is long enough and strong enough before you leave the store.
