▶️ French President Emmanuel Macron treated Chinese President Xi Jinping to French wine and steak at a tasting session at a major trade fair in Shanghai, Tuesday, November 5.
Macron, who is traveling in China with a business delegation of 30 companies, will seek greater access in the fields of finance and aerospace as well as fewer export restrictions for French poultry in his three-day state visit.
Macron is pushing for an increase in French beef exports to China after French cattle farmers have been struggling against a declining domestic demand. (REUTERS)
