For something a little different, this video explores the overgrown clos in the woods above Mâcon-Cruzille: enclosed vineyards, cultivated for centuries, which were abandoned after #phylloxera. We don’t know of a more tangible example of how this insect, which devastated vineyards in the late 19th century, changed #Burgundy’s #viticultural landscape.
