Who doesn’t love French Toasts on a lazy weekend morning? This classic and simple French Toast recipe takes only 10 minutes making it perfect for a quick delicious breakfast for a weekend or any other day of the week 🙂
Ingredients:
3 Whole Eggs
1 Egg Yolk
1.5 tsp Sugar
0.5 tsp Cinnamon Powder
0.25 cup Milk
5 White Breads (thick)
Butter for frying
Recipe:
1. Mix the eggs and the yolk in a bowl and whisk them well
2. Add Sugar and Cinnamon Powder
3. Whisk again to dissolve the sugar and incorporate the Cinnamon well
4. Pour in the milk and give one last whisk
5. Heat a pan and drop 0.5 tsp of butter
6. Dip a piece of bread in the egg mixture and soak it well
7. Fry it in the butter for 2-3 minutes
8. Flip on the other side and fry for further 1-2 minutes
9. Repeat for rest of the 4 bread slices
10. Pour 1 – 2 tsp of honey or maple syrup on French Toasts before serving
