One of my favorite deserts is French Vanilla Parfait. I usually get this desert to go whenever I go to La Madeleine French Bakery Here in Texas. As I am eager to try out new things, I wanted to recreate this French Vanilla Parfait at home in my own kitchen. After making it for myself, I went back to La Madeleine and brought back their Parfait for comparison. The version I made is way better than others and so I am sharing my recipe with you all.

Ingredients
5 Cups or 1250ml Milk
4 TBSP or 60g Custard Powder
3/4 Cup or 220g Condensed Milk
1/3 Cup or 50g Whip cream
1 Cup or 75g Nilla Wafers
Fruits as you desire I used orange, banana, pineapple, blueberries, and strawberries.

Instructions
1. First make custard paste/slurry by adding in 60g or 4tbsp of custard powder into 1 cup or 250ml of milk
2. Boil 4 Cups or 1000 ml of milk. Mix in the custard past/slurry. Mix well.
3. Once cooked take off the heat and add in 3/4 cup or 220g of condensed milk.
4. Place in the fridge and allow to chill for 1 hour.
5. Take out from the fridge and add in 1/3 cup or 220g whip cream and mix well.
6. For putting it all together place nilla wafers on the bottom and pour over the custard. Add in your favorite fruits or skip if you don’t like fruits. Top it all of by adding in more custard on top.

Enjoy your french vanilla Parfait
