Kilchis River County Park is set alongside the crystal clear Kilchis River ~ a great campground for families, with a playground, grassy area and beach at the river. Nehalem Falls Campground is next to the river and the small falls can be viewed from the riverside trail. The campsites are perfect for smaller RVs and tents. Fort Stevens State Park is a huge campground with something for everyone ~ the remains of the Peter Iredale shipwreck on the beach, the old fort and a fresh water lake! If you are members of the Harvest Hosts program, add a winery stay on either end ~ in Tillamook, The Blue Heron French Cheese Company and back over the coastal range towards Portland, the dog friendly and super wine pairing Plum Hill Winery!
