What’s up fellow citizens of the World & welcome back to WINE-O-CLOCK WEDNESDAYS🍷! I’m finally MONETIZED on YouTube after making consistent culture & travel videos for 5 months!
I started my channel on February 26, 2020 and was officially monetized on August 3, 2020! It took almost exactly 5 months to accomplish this milestone and thought I would share a few recommendations if you’re thinking of starting your own channel! 🙃
In this video I mention a few important points that I found so helpful when it came to growing my channel, gaining subscribers, and reaching the 4,000 hours watched threshold!
Finding your niche market is the first step, then comes creating your content schedule. Consistency is the biggest KEY! If you can’t upload 2 videos a week like I have, no worries! Move at a pace that works for you, just know that it might take a little longer to reach your audience and thresholds!
Be patient. Success won’t happen over night…and there will be many “trial & error” moments, but keep your head up and hang in there!
