Continuing the Bubble Sessions with a sparkling wine from France, but it’s no Champagne, it is a Cremant du Jura. There are some great sparkling wines labeled as Cremant in France that are usually overshadowed by Champagne, but it is a mistake to ignore these.
This Cremant is made in the traditional method, secondary fermentation is done in the bottle. Other Cremant wines to seek out are:
Cremant d’Alsace, de Limoux, de Bourgogne, de Bordeaux and de Loire.
Do yourself another favor, start exploring some Cremants from France and thank me later.
The wine tasted in this episode is below:
Domaine Rolet Pere et Fils
Cremant du Jura
Jura, France
Cheers!!!
