On Wednesday September 2nd 2020, the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV) had the pleasure of organising a virtual welcome meeting jointly with the Great Wine Capitals Global Network (GWC) to celebrate the recent observer status of the network at the OIV.
Founded in 1999 GWC is a network of major global cities in both the northern and southern hemisphere. It aims to encourage travel, education and business exchanges between the prestigious wine regions of Adelaide, Bilbao, Bordeaux, Cape Town, Lausanne, Mainz, Mendoza, Porto, San Francisco, Valparaìso and Verona.
